Wv coal miners being laid off .When will it pick up

Are you a laid off coal miner? Well Iam.Around 4 months ago the company I worked for laid me off. Only because of one boss who had only had his papers for three months. Before that he was an outside guy for six years off and on.Which everyone knew he didn't have all of his underground time, but his father had been a foreman at a different mines and no one question management on this.Besides he was a suck up and a nark. A meeting was help and the bosses only kept who they wanted. Which puzzles me, because I had been there for 6 years,and maybe I should have lowered myself to the bottom feeder suck ups.I would probley still be working. I would rather keep my pride and be able to sleep at night then turn into one of them. If that's what it takes to keep a job in the coal mines,well... I will be looking for a different line of work. It may seem like I am still upset over being laid off ,but Iam not.A lot of the stress and pressure of an production job is gone. It's like shedding a new skin or an old one. The onlything I do miss from working in the mines is the guys On my crew. They where good men and we watched out for each other.I may find another job-maybe,but I dont think I will find another crew like that.I started a website to help others in the same situation.That is being laid off or if you just want to read more about my story you can go here. was laid off.
